It's the punch in the eye that shows I care

Daniel is always great about doing little things that make me feel loved. He lets me sleep 15 min. later than him in the mornings, always has my coffee ready at the couch for me when I do get up, when I get up in the middle of the night he always pulls the covers back and then covers me back up when I get back in bed.  Last night he got up and I decided to be nice to him and pull his covers back when he got in bed.  I pulled the covers over and then I punched him in the eye.  "Why are you punching me in the eye?!"  was not the response I was going for.  I think I am going to stick to showing my love by cooking good food, I think he might appreciate that a lot more.

Landscaping

So we finally got done with the majority of the landscaping. I am really impressed at how well daniel did with the walk.  We are painting and trying to finish up the little stuff now.  It really was much more involved than we had expected but I am happy with the results.

past week

Its been a long week but Sat is finally here.  We have gotten the sidewalk mostly complete (and by we I mean Daniel and Kevin).  The library had a Harry Potter party on Thursday and the kids had a blast! over 250 people showed up but they were very organized.  Everyone was split into three houses and went to different classes.  We had Herbology, making a magic pot and planting a pumpkin plant, then Potions which was some horrid tasting concoction called a giggling potion but they had fun making it.  They had snacks, wand making, divination and quiddich tryouts.  Today Emily took Sam, Caleb and me to the pool and we were the only people there for the majority of the time.  Jack went fishing with Zan and now Mike is over here for a while.  I am ready for a nap!  Next week the boys all take swimming lessons in the morning. Sams will teach him the basics and the older boys will work on strokes and diving.

Long time

So it's been forever since I posted anything, mainly cause I am lazy.  One day I will get motivated and download my pictures from my camera but for now you are stuck with my ramblings.  So we went to church again today, two weeks in a row! I haven't went to church in two years so I am pretty proud of myself.  Still not used to the formality of it but at least we are going.  I left after twenty min. because allergies are horrible and I was having a coughing fit and couldnt stop but hey I at least got up, got dressed and went.  The boys are all feeling better, just felt lousy enough to make me cancel my weekend.  They are excited about going down to mom's over easter though, they are excited about the prospect of getting two easter baskets not just mine. (Mom I'll send you some stuff)  Hope you all have a great week and I will try to do better with keeping up with the blog

Caleb's hat I finally got done with! It's the longest one I've made and I am so glad it is done. I used my new pom pom maker and it was so much easier than doing it by hand

My awesome new bed set! Thanks so much Mom and Dad! I love it

See you later....

For Jack's birthday we finally activated his phone. Daniel had taken the day off so we went to Verizon and of course Sam had to go to the potty, twice.  So here I am sitting there having nice chitchat with the service representative when Sam comes running out of the back screaming, " See you later SUCKERS!"  Made my day

Neurologist visit

Daniel and I went down to NC to see Dr. Jeffrey's today and it went really well. He has moved about 20 minutes farther than Wake Forest but his new office is so much better.  The atmosphere is much friendlier and welcoming and I am really happy he switched.  He is starting me on a new medicine along with my Tysabri which hopefully will strengthen my legs.  In two weeks a new test is coming out that will test for the JC virus.  If I test negative for this than I can continue my tysabri without a break.  Many people are exposed to this virus and it does not affect them but the Tysabri can activate it which causes the brain damage.  If I do test positive than that doesn't mean I will get brain damage, it just means I have to take the break from Tysabri.  I am going to wait and do the test when I go down in three months for my checkup since I am not planning on stopping before that anyways.
I will eventually get around to posting Christmas pictures once I get back on a schedule.
